Pappardelle pasta with mushrooms is a typical dish of Northern Italy served to warm the family up during cold winter.
- 400g pappardelle pasta
- 250g mushrooms (fresh or in oil)
- 200g mushroom sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- salt, to taste
1Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. When the water is boiling add salt and 400g pappardelle pasta. Cook according to the time indicated on the box (approx. 13 minutes).
2In the meantime, melt the butter and 1 tablespoon of oil in a wide pan. Add some sliced mushrooms and cook until they become brown and crunchy. Add mushroom sauce and stir well.
3When pasta is ready, drain and add to mushroom mixture. Cook for few minutes at high heat just while you mix it all together. Serve while it is still hot.
